Mayrhofen is a popular picturesque Tyrolean resort
bordered on either side with green fields leading up
to wooded mountains with spectacular views of the
valleys and snow capped peaks. Mayrhofen has a
wide choice of activities for the energetic and a wonderful relaxing

base for walking with plenty of mountain restaurants and wonderful

Delightful Austrian-style modern
property set in a beautiful residential area surrounded by spectacular
mountain scenery.The Chalet Alex sleeps 23 guests in a homely
and informal atmosphere with residents lounge. Operated by our
own staff, we offer a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere,
a real home from home.
The comfortably furnished rooms all have sinks and there are
separate W.C.'s, shower room and bathrooms. Single, twin, triple
and quad rooms are available and most rooms have a balcony.
Chalet Alex is situated a short walk from the Tourist Office,
Church Square and town centre.
All Inclusive - which consits of buffet style breakfast with
a choice of cereal, cold meats, cheeses, rolls, orange and grapefruit

This traditional detached Austrian
chalet is set in a peaceful, wooded location, perfect for getting
away from it all and yet only a short walk into the town centre.
The Chalet St Lukas sleeps 33. The comfortably furnished room.
Single, twin, triple and quad rooms are available and most have
balconys. All rooms are en-suite.

- via the stunning Gerlos Pass. These falls are the highest
in Europe - by coach excursion.
Hintertux Glacier
- take a cable-car ride up the mountain to the stunning
glacier and visit the Spannagelhaus caves, by local bus.
Lake Achensee
and Rattenburg - Rattenburg is one of the oldest cities
in the Tyrol. Visit the glass factory, then travel by rack-railway
to Achensee, take in the views and enjoy a cruise on the lake
by local tram or bus.
Schwarz Silvermines
- 500 years ago more than 11,000 miners worked here. It
was once the largest in the world.
