Castell Montgri
Castell Montgri is a self-contained
holiday village - it offers everything you could possibly need
for a self-catering holiday. You could quite happily spend your
whole holiday here without leaving the site!
Sitting on the hillside overlooking the resort of Estartit,
Castell Montgri is only 1km from the wide sandy beach and is
ideal for families and young couples. (This site is terraced,
hilly and unsuitable for disabled clients or wheelchairs)
There are a range of shops and facilities on site - supermarket,
gift shop, newsagents, launderette, cash point, money changing
and safety deposit.
The site bars and the disco are good value and open 'til late.
The excellent sport and leisure facilities provided on site
include tennis courts, football pitch and mini-golf, most of
which are floodlit at night. There are three swimming pools
- one is said to be the largest in the Costa Brava and has underwater
lighting for evening use.

The Resort
A lively picturesque resort
for all the family
A popular resort with British
holidaymakers for many years, Estartit more than justifies its
excellent reputation. Once an old Catalan fishing port nestling
in a picturesque setting below the towering Roca Maura, the
town has developed into a popular destination for all age groups.
The beach is long, wide and sandy - one of the finest on the
Costa Brava and ideal for children - Estartit offers a fascinating
blend of old fashioned charm and modern amenities.
Water sports flourish here, including wind surfing and water
skiing. The Medas Islands off Estartit offer probably the best
sub-aqua and snorkel diving in the Mediterranean.
After sunset there is a wide range of night life to choose from,
varied enough to suit all ages. There is an excellent selection
of restaurants, some of the best of which are situated directly
opposite the fishing port - so there's little doubt that the
fish is fresh! Eating out on the Costa Brava is good value which
makes it doubly enjoyable! Later you can move on to one of the
many discos, nightclubs and cocktail bars.
Estartit is well situated for interesting excursions and day
trips.
